Common Defects in Textile & Apparel Inspection

As the inspection needs grow in Bangladesh and Pakistan, our inspectors have identified several common defects during textile inspections.

  • Weaving Defects: Irregularities like warp breaks and uneven weft insertion weaken fabric structure and distort its appearance.
  • Dyeing and Coloring Defects: Uneven dyeing, shading differences, and color bleeding affect fabric's color quality.
  • Printing Defects: Pattern misalignment and blurred prints mar the appearance of printed textiles.
  • Finishing Defects: Excessive shrinkage after washing and rough fabric surfaces due to improper processes are common issues.
