What is FDA?

FDA is short for Food and Drug Administration of United States. Food contact materials exported to the United States are regulated as indirect food additive under the Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (21 CFR).

The Food and Drug Administration is the oldest comprehensive consumer protection agency in the U. S. federal government. It is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, effectiveness, quality, and security of human and veterinary drugs, vaccines and other biological products,and medical devices.

The FDA logo is set for maximum visibility and impact. The logo may be scaled up as large as desired. The logo lock-up should never be smaller than the minimum horizontal and monogram size, or a size of less than 5/8 inch in length.

FDA Blue is the dominant color of the brand, followed by FDA Dark Blue and White. For printing use CMYK, or consult your printing specialist for the equivalent spot (Pantone) color. For digital applications, use RGB or Hex values.
